Birds are great indicators of ecosystem health — and the Tarwin catchment supports a remarkable diversity of species, from Powerful Owls in the Strzelecki Ranges to Hooded Plovers on the coastal beaches of Corner Inlet.
We encourage all birdwatchers to submit their observations via eBird or BioCollect, tagging observations to the Tarwin catchment area. Your records contribute to the Atlas of Living Australia and inform conservation management.
